Katherine Lebaric
U.C. Berkeley, Haas School of Business
Katherine immigrated to the United States as a young child. Her passion for
finance and business began at a very young age as she remembers reading trade
magazines as early as the 5th grade. She obtained her undergraduate degree in
Information Systems from U.C. Santa Cruz in three years, graduating with honors.
Katherine supported herself through school by starting her own, now-successful,
business as well as developing RealNegotiate, a software tool that applies
financial engineering tools in a way that is accessible for consumers and real
estate professionals. Her work has been featured in Money magazine, Inman News
and the Chicago Tribune. Katherine holds a California Real Estate license, holds
a leadership role in the Society of Women Engineers, and competes on various
swim teams.
Katherine is enrolled in the Master's of Financial Engineering program at U.C.
Berkeley. She hopes to leverage her education and experience to some day run a
portfolio trading operation
