Global Mobile. The financial industry is on the verge of a dramatic transformation – as your phone becomes your wallet. Join us at this special event where FWA members and guests will glean insights from the front lines of the mobile payment revolution, including the myths and realities of mobile offers and couponing, how to ensure consumer adoption success at the point-of-sale, and how mobile payment schemes have literally supplanted traditional banking in emerging markets.
Panelists include:
Mike Kennedy, Executive Vice President, Head of Enterprise Payments Strategy, WELLS FARGO. Mike Kennedy is an Executive Vice President and head of Enterprise Payments Strategy (EPS) for Wells Fargo. EPS Partners, with retail and wholesale businesses to create the Wells Fargo payments philosophy, drive cross-line-of-business payments strategies, identify and launch new payment opportunities, and represent Wells Fargo in the payments industry. EPS tackles challenges such as mobile and P2P payments, the migration from paper to electronic and next-day settlement alternatives.
Mike joined Wells Fargo into the Wealth Management Group (WMG) in 2004 where he was a senior vice president and head of Strategy and Implementation. His team focused on improving the customer experience and driving business results.
Prior to joining Wells Fargo, Mike worked at McKinsey and Company where he consulted to various large financial services institutions on strategic, operational, sales, and marketing topics. Before McKinsey and Company, Mike was the head of Strategy and Business Development at Vail Associates in Colorado and was an associate at a venture capital firm.
Mike earned both his bachelor's and master's of science degrees in industrial engineering from Stanford University, and his M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
Steve Klebe, VP, Business Development & Strategy, BILLtoMOBILE. Steve Klebe has 30+ years experience in payments, eCommerce, authentication & fraud prevention. He is currently VP, Business Development and Strategy for BilltoMobile (powered by Danal), a leading provider of mobile billing solutions. Prior to his role at BilltoMobile he held senior management positions at VeriFone, CyberSource and RSA. Steve has developed numerous innovative payment solutions from infancy through mainstream adoption, including Visa's investment in CyberSource and their co-branded product – CyberSource Advanced Fraud Screen enhanced by Visa.
Steve has played an active role in industry leadership, spoken at over 50 conferences, and is a former member of the board of directors of the Electronic Transactions Association and advisory boards of the Direct Response Forum and the Electronic Funds Transfer Association. He is currently a member of two private company advisory boards. Steve earned a B.S. with honors, Business Administration, from Northeastern University.
Carol Realini, Executive Chairman, OBOPAY. In 2005, Carol Realini founded Obopay to meet the nascent need for an industry leader in mobile payments. Today, Obopay — through partnerships with financial institutions such as Citi and MasterCard and mobile carriers — is using mobile phones to deliver financial services that empower people's life and work.
Carol founded Obopay after traveling in Africa and recognizing that while mobile phones were ubiquitous, many people didn't have access to even the most basic banking services. Recognizing the need and opportunity in both industrialized and developing nations, Carol designed Obopay's business model to promote social and economic development throughout the world, by providing mobile savings, money transfer, and payments to people everywhere.
Prior to launching Obopay, Carol was chairman and CEO of Chordiant Software, developer of one-to-one marketing and customer interaction software. During her tenure, Carol played a key leadership role in the origination, development and successful IPO of the company. Carol was CEO and president of J. Frank Consulting where she guided the company through significant growth, eventually orchestrating the firm's sale.
Carol holds a B.A with Honors in Mathematics from the University of California and a Masters of Science in Computer Science from California State University. Additionally, Carol successfully completed the Executive Management Program at Stanford University's Graduate School of Business.
Drew Sievers is the CEO & Co-Founder of mFoundry, the fastest growing provider of SaaS mobile banking and payments. With more than 525 financial institution clients, mFoundry helps financial institutions leverage the power of mobility. mFoundry is the power behind the largest mobile payments initiative in North America, Starbucks Card Mobile.
Drew has been delivering technology-based solutions for over 20 years, powering brands like Toyota, Lexus, Nestlé, P&G, AT&T, Microsoft, Motorola and Disney. Previously, Drew ran Semaphore Partners, one of the largest iAgencies in the U.S. Drew also spent 5 years in Japan as Regional Director for Saatchi & Saatchi, and held management positions at Wieden & Kennedy, and Ogilvy & Mather.
Drew lives in the San Francisco Bay Area.

The Panel will be moderated by Erin McCune, Partner, Glenbrook Partners and president-elect, Financial Women's Association of San Francisco.
Erin McCune, Partner, Glenbrook Partners. Erin focuses her efforts at Glenbrook on client engagements in commercial payments, global eCommerce, and the intersection of social networks, gaming and payments. Erin has over twelve years of experience leading increasingly complex business-to-business (B2B) payment initiatives for corporate clients and advising financial technologists and financial institutions on the development of their cash management capabilities.
In addition to consulting, Erin is the editor of Glenbrook's Payments Views blog, where the firm's partners share their opinions and points of views on the payments news of the day. Erin's blog posts and articles cover topics related to corporate finance, treasury technology, B2B payments, change leadership and financial process improvement.
Before joining Glenbrook, Erin was the founder of Forte Financial, a consulting firm focused on corporate finance efficiency, accuracy, and technology.
Erin holds a B.A. in English from the University of California, Davis, and an MBA from the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California. She is on the board of the Financial Women's Association of San Francisco.
