More About the Panelists

Wendy Larson, Senior Vice President
Charles Schwab

Wendy leads Insight & Loyalty, Schwab's client loyalty and market insight team. I&L provides internal partners with decision support, research, and analysis, along with integrated data warehouse and marketing data services.

Before joining Schwab in 2007, she co-founded and served as Managing Director of IncuBay, LLC, a management consulting and entrepreneurial firm. She co-founded Achex, Inc., an innovative and successful online payments company, and served on the Board of Directors.

Prior to that, she was with Accenture in the Strategic Services practice, and with Citibank. Wendy holds an MBA from UC Berkeley, and an MS in Genetics from Oregon State University. She lives in Orinda, California, where she enjoys hiking with her husband Matt and their two terriers in the East Bay hills.

Sarah Devany, Senior Vice President Charles Schwab
Sarah Devany is the currently the Senior Vice President of Accounts, Reporting, and Trading Operations for Charles Schwab. Her team is responsible for Schwab's order routing, and execution quality as well as the Trading Infrastructure Program, which supports and develops Schwab's trading systems. Sarah's team also manages Schwab's client tax and cost basis reporting data, our asset transfers, our margin services, our third level operational Hotlines, and works to prevent new account fraud and trading fraud, which could negatively impact our clients.

Prior to this role in Schwab Operations, Sarah spent several years as the Senior Vice President of Active Trader Services, the organization which provides service, trading advice and technical support to clients who trade more than 24 times per year. Sarah has been with Schwab about 14 years, starting as a business analyst in Electronic Brokerage Services. She has held a variety of service support positions in Schwab's service organizations including managing service reporting & analysis, creating and running the Service Design & Integration group, managing the Traffic organization. Sarah also spent two years as Chief of Staff for Retail Client Services during which time she helped open the Austin Service Center and developed a service resource sharing program. She also headed the SF Trader and Technical Support Service groups within Active Trader.
Prior to coming to Schwab, Sarah worked for Gnostic Concepts, a market research firm that focused on the electronics industry, and Providian as an analyst and a product manger. She developed her strategic planning and forecasting skills at Shaklee Corporation where she was responsible for the corporate business strategy function. Sarah received her BA from the University of California-Berkeley. She lives in Lafayette, California with her family.

Jill Godsey, Vice President
Charles Schwab

Jill Godsey joined Charles Schwab & Co. in 1996 in the Retail Services organization before joining the Operations enterprise in 2004. In various roles, Jill has led teams performing strategic development, client account maintenance, telephone service, telephone routing, capacity planning, productivity reporting and analysis, business process management ("BPM") design, and technology development. She is currently performing strategic investment and sourcing analysis while leading corporate initiatives to strengthen fraud and compliance controls.

Prior to joining Schwab, Jill was a financial analyst in the mergers and acquisitions division of Montgomery Securities, and was the Merchandising Controller at the good guys!, a consumer electronics retailer.

Jill earned her BS and MBA from UC Berkeley Hass School of Business. She lives in Lafayette, with her husband and two children.

Mary Coughlin, Senior Vice President
Charles Schwab

Mary joined Charles Schwab in 1999 and is currently leading the Talent Management Organization where she is responsible for enhancing client loyalty through programs that support the end to end employee experience. Talent Management includes Talent Acquisition, Training and Development, HR Technology and Operations as well as Diversity and Inclusion.

Mary has 25 years of HR experience in both generalist and specialist roles. Prior to joining Schwab, she was a Regional Human Resources Leader at Target Corporation. She has also held leadership positions with Kaiser Permanente, TJX Corporation, XEROX and Macy's.

Mary earned her BA in Business Administration from California State University, East Bay. .
