The Financial Women's Association invites you to a Professional Development Event, "Ask for it! Seven Habits of Highly Effective Negotiators." In this workshop, business trial attorney and mediator Gilda Turitz will share her expertise on specific skills and techniques to be a successful negotiator in business negotiations and in resolving disputes. You will leave with a better self-awareness and practical tips on how to prepare for and engage in a negotiation and walk away glad that you asked.

About the Speaker

Gilda Turitz is the Litigation Practice Group Leader at Sideman & Bancroft LLP, a certified woman-owned law firm in San Francisco. In addition to representing clients as an advocate and negotiating as an essential part of her law practice, Gilda has also been a mediator for over 15 years assisting parties to negotiate settlements of commercial litigation cases. She is passionate about empowering and mentoring women in their careers and recognizes negotiation skills as essential to career advancement. Gilda has been listed as a Northern California Super Lawyer for business litigation since 2004 and as a Best Lawyer in the Bay Area, and was honored with the American Bar Association, Law Practice Management Section' "Glass Hammer Award" for her efforts to shatter the glass ceiling in the legal profession.
