Presents
"Rethinking Credit"
An Industry Leadership Series Event
featuring
Stephen Kealhofer– Managing Principal, Diversified Credit
Investments LLC
on
Wednesday, May 20th
The Financial Women's Association in conjunction with the
CFA Society invites you to a lunch program featuring Stephen
Kealhofer, Managing Principal of Diversified Credit
Investments LLC. An expert in both credit and risk
assessment, Dr. Kealhofer will discuss the current credit
crisis, a rationalization of its roots and evolution since
the 1930s, and posit some potential reforms for future
growth. Dr. Kealhofer will explore the following questions:
- Why did banks and other businesses
use such high levels of leverage?
- What role did derivatives -
particularly credit derivatives - play
in the crisis?
- Given what went wrong, what reforms
make sense?
