As we move into a new economic and financial paradigm, all of us are being asked to change. Learn some lessons, new tools and ideas on how to rise to the occasion at this evening event hosted at KPMG and featuring Leigh Wasson, Managing Director, Northern California Market Manager for Citi Private Bank. Ms. Wasson will share her insights and experience on how to position yourself and your career so that you can continue to prosper despite the challenging environment in the economy and financial industry.

About the Speaker

Ms. Wasson joined The Citigroup Private Bank in 2005 to manage the Northern California region that includes offices in San Francisco and Palo Alto.

Ms. Wasson's responsibilities include expanding and deepening the Private Bank's presence in Northern California, Nevada and Hawaii. She coordinates the team of bankers and specialists focused on providing a solutions-oriented approach to the wealth management needs of high net worth individuals and families by extending the reach of Citigroup Private Bank's tailored services. These services include investment management, trust and estate planning, philanthropic and art advisory, credit, and capital markets.

Prior to joining The Private Bank, Ms. Wasson was with Bessemer Trust, where she focused on new business development on the West Coast. Previous to Bessemer Trust, Ms. Wasson spent 16 years with JP Morgan with both the private bank and the institutional investment management division. She was with JP Morgan Private Bank from 1999 – 2004 and was a managing director and region head of the Silicon Valley and Newport Beach offices. She spent from 1987 to 1999 at JP Morgan Investment Management, where her various roles included relationship officer, portfolio manager, and equity research analyst, and included assignments in Australia and London, in addition to New York.

Ms. Wasson has a B.B.A in Finance from The University of Texas and an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. She is a member of the Women's Leadership Board, John F. Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University. Ms. Wasson serves on the Board of the International Museum of Women, the Advisory Board of the Stanford Social Innovation Review, the signature publication of the Center for Social Innovation at the Stanford Graduate School of Business and on the Advisory Board of Astia. Ms. Wasson is a volunteer at the Boys and Girls Club of the Peninsula, where she facilitates "Money Matters," a financial literacy training program for teens. Ms. Wasson resides in Sausalito.
