About the Speaker

Suzanne is the Director of Global Revenue Accounting Operations at Cisco Systems. Suzanne's responsibilities include deal, channels, and 2nd tier revenue accounting as well as corporate revenue consolidations and reporting, revenue controls, and revenue process and systems enhancements.

Suzanne joined the company in 1999, leading revenue adjustment planning and investor relations reporting as part of the Cisco Corporate FP&A team. She rotated to Manufacturing Finance and was a plant finance manager and then became manager of the manufacturing finance process and tools team. She later rotated to the Customer Advocacy (Cisco Services) Finance team where she led revenue accounting, cost management, planning, controls, and reporting for CA. As part of the finance operating effectiveness initiative, Suzanne was selected to lead the revenue accounting operations track and became the lead of the newly formed team. This team consolidated all product and service revenue accounting for Cisco into one team, bringing in tasks and personnel from several finance teams globally.

Prior to coming to Cisco, Suzanne spent 15 years in the aeropsace industry, leading finance teams in estimating, cost accounting, and contract cost management.

Suzanne earned her B.S. degree in Economics from U.C. Davis and her MBA degree from Santa Clara University.
