The Contra Costa Council and The Financial Women’s
Association of San Francisco cordially invite you to
participate, along with a select group of key business
leaders, in the meeting of the Contra Costa Business Forum
on Monday, October 8th from 4:00 pm - 6:00 PM.
The theme of the meeting will be "Growing a Business."
The meeting will include two speakers who will discuss the
theme, followed by an open discussion.
This meeting will feature a keynote discussion by
Susan Desmond-Hellmann, M.D., M.P.H., President, Product
Development of Genentech. Ms. Desmond-Hellman is
currently on the Forbes List of the "100 Most Powerful Women
in the World." Joining her will be Gloria Ferguson,
the Senior Vice President, Business Banking, of New Resource
Bank.
Through the Contra Costa Business Forum, the Council
provides a dynamic venue where senior executives from
innovative and growing firms can share their challenges and
aspirations, network with other business leaders, and
address relevant issues and initiatives needed to make
Contra Costa County a preferred place to do business in
today's rapidly changing global economy.
