A Networking Series Event:
"An Afternoon of Tastings, Treasures, and Treats"
- Sponsored by FTI Consulting and Pachulski Stang
Ziehl & Jones, LLP -
Please join us for an afternoon of networking while
gazing and grazing! On Wednesday, November 7 in San
Francisco, join your FWA colleagues in shopping for unique
jewelry by Dorrani Designs, sampling exquisite chocolates by
Lula's Chocolates, and tasting wines provided by the Ferry
Plaza Wine Merchant - and support three successful Northern
California businesses started by women. Ten percent
of all proceeds from jewelry sales will be donated to the
Bay Area Women's and Children's Center.
We hope to see you there! With the holidays around the
bend, it's the perfect time to shop for just the right gift
for you before anyone else has any ideas. Please forward
this invitation to other women in the restructuring and
financial industry that you believe may be interested in
attending, and please remember to RSVP.
About the Vendors
Dorrani Designs was created on the basis of
designing and crafting fashionable and unique jewelry that
embodies the traditional quality of fine jewelry and the
excitement of the latest fashion trends. Dorrani's jewelry
is hand crafted with the finest quality 18K gold and
hand-selected quality gemstones and pearls. Each piece is
unique, and the designs are created to elicit their inherent
organic beauty. The craftsmanship is intricate, enabling the
designs to be fluid yet bold, while conforming to the
natural shapes of the woman's body. Each piece is designed
on the body, to ensure proper placement and movement. The
designs are flexible and can be worn several ways; thus the
woman has the freedom to express her own personal style.
Dorrani's jewelry is sold exclusively at Louis Boston, The
Asia Society Store in New York, and at private trunk shows
internationally. Dorrani believes that women are divine and
their accessories should reflect and enhance their inner
beauty and strength.
Ferry Plaza Wine Merchant is a classic, hands-on,
service-oriented shop for buying, tasting, and learning
about wine. Owners Debbie Zachareas and Peter Granoff are
two of the Bay Area's most distinguished wine experts.
Debbie conceptualized Bacar, San Francisco's acclaimed
"wine-centric" restaurant, and is a judge at many wine
competitions.
Lula's Chocolates has been a family tradition started
by Lula Lund more than 70 years ago. She perfected the art
of fine, hand-made chocolates using the finest of
ingredients - fresh butter, cream, eggs, chocolate - and
combined her artistry in confectionery skills.
