The Financial Women’s
Association Of San Francisco
presents
A Professional Development Series event
with
Debra Condren
"AmBITCHous"
Psychologist and career coach Debra Condren's book,
am•BITCH•ous, is a defiant charge to women to "reclaim
ambition as a virtue." Ambitious men are seen as go-getters,
she writes, but there is a public distaste for smart,
aggressive, successful career women, who are too often
labeled with the insulting epithet in the book’s title.
Condren has coached thousands of women at every level -
from those just starting out to the most powerful female
executives in America - and has repeatedly encountered the
same fear of being seen as selfish, bitchy, a bad wife or a
bad mother for pursuing their dream. Yet it is fear of
ambition that forces women to leave the best parts of
themselves - their dreams and their great talents - by the
wayside, thus diminishing their potential in every area of
life. Condren has a new message and mission: Remind women
that ambition is a virtue, not a vice. Ambition is the best
of who we are.
Please join us on May 2 from 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
at Le Meridien in San Francisco to hear Dr. Condren offer
fresh, powerful tools for reclaiming your dreams.
Her eight "amBITCHous Rules" provide concrete, innovative
solutions to the everyday struggles women face - like taking
credit, deflecting detractors, and handling confrontation -
so that you can become more powerful and fulfilled at work
and more satisfied at home. You can redefine your ambition
in the face of social sanctions and unapologetically go
after your dreams without sacrificing the rest of your life.
You owe it to yourself and the world to make the
contribution you were born to make. Debra Condren will show
you how to do it.
