The Financial Women’s
Association Of San Francisco
presents
A Members-Only Industry Leadership Series Event:
"A Tour of the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco"
Ever wondered about the inner workings of The Federal
Reserve Bank of San Francisco? Here is a great chance to
quell your curiosity: The FWA has arranged for a
special members-only behind-the-scenes tour of the Federal
Reserve on Thursday, June 28th! Our visit will start with
lunch and some introductory remarks by FWA member and Fed
Group Vice President, Teresa Curran, and will continue
with a video presentation highlighting the Fed’s role
following the events of 9/11. Finally, for the first 30
members to register for this event, there will be an
hour-long guided tour of:
- The Fed Center, including an array of exhibits where
we’ll learn how the Federal Reserve’s functions are relevant
to our lives;
- Historical currency theatre and museum where we’ll see
the most extensive collection of rare and valuable antique
currency in the United States - including the Grand
Watermelon Note of 1890; and
- The bank’s cash and check operations, including the
vault.
Space for this special members only event is extremely
limited. The maximum capacity at the event is 40 FWA
members. The first 30 members to
register for this event will also receive a 1–hour guided
tour of the Federal Reserve, so be sure to book early!
