The Financial Women’s Association Of San Francisco
and
PricewaterhouseCoopers

presents
A Members-Only Professional Development Series Event:

"Winning at the Game of Office Politics"

Have you ever wondered: Is it possible to effectively navigate politics without becoming a political animal? In San Francisco on Tuesday, June 26th, join your fellow FWA members for an energizing, members-only morning program to hear Jo Miller, women's leadership coach, provide the answer to this question as well as offer strategies to enable you to effectively navigate the maze of office politics.

Inside every corporation are legions of smart, talented women quietly going about their work, hoping someone will discover their brilliance, and reward them for it. While they wait, colleagues are advancing their careers by politicking, schmoozing, and manipulating. However, in her article titled, Seven Career Killers, author Erin Burt warns that "…avoiding politics altogether can be deadly for your career. Every workplace has an intricate system of power, and you can - and should - work it ethically to your best advantage."

In her presentation, Jo Miller, CEO of Women’s Leadership Coaching Inc., will describe how to build your organizational awareness and cultivate a sphere of influence. You will leave with a toolkit enabling you to effectively and ethically navigate office politics.
