The Financial Women’s
Association Of San Francisco - Silicon
Valley Group
presents
A Networking Series Event:
"On Course for Business - Golf for Women"
Come and join us on July 12th to practice your
golf, see FWA friends, and hear Suzanne Woo talk about how
to add golf to your career and business development plans.
Move your business golf out of the sand trap and into the
fairway of success!
Selling Power Magazine declares, "Golf is the
unofficial sport of business." Nearly 90% of top Fortune 500
executives are golfers. Golfers know the power of golf in
business for building business relationships, rapport, and
trust. However, most businesswomen only hear of their
colleagues’ successes on golf courses. They’re left out of
the action because they likely have a “That’s All False”
objection such as:
- Time – "I don’t have time
to play."
- Athleticism – "I’m not
athletic. I don’t think I can hit the ball."
- Foolish – "I don’t want to
look foolish or make a mistake."
Once women understand the professional and personal
benefits to playing golf - from fun, fresh air, and
exercise, to learning about a playing partner’s character,
negotiation style, and more - they’ll make time to play
golf. Women will also learn that they don’t need to be
athletic, but simply need to know how they can play business
golf as a beginner golfer. As to a women’s fear of looking
foolish, women who play with proper etiquette and knowledge
of golf’s rules will be welcome in any foursome, regardless
of how far they hit the ball.
After hearing Suzanne, women will be confident and
motivated to add business golf to their repertoire of
business skills.
About the Speaker:
Suzanne Woo is a sought-after business golf speaker and
author of On Course for Business—Women and Golf: The

Women magazine. Woo has helped countless women learn how
they can take advantage of this business ritual. She
provides presentations to corporations - such as Bank of
America, Harris Nesbitt, Merrill Lynch - and associations
throughout the country and works with individual clients on
the course. Woo is a California real estate attorney and
avid golfer. To learn more about Suzanne’s business golf
