"An Evening of Business Card Bingo"
A key finding from the recent FWA Member Survey was the
importance of structured networking events for new and
seasoned members alike. But who said networking had to be
dull!
Join us for an evening of ‘Business Card Bingo’ on
Tuesday, June 27 at Le Meridien (formerly Park Hyatt) in San
Francisco. Our lively program will provide many
opportunities for you to meet, mingle, and get to know your
FWA colleagues!
Networking Activity : Business Card Bingo
First, as you enter the room, drop your business card in
the "Bingo Box". You are then given a "Bingo Card," and you
write your name in the center square.
Over the course of the next hour, you will move from
table to table circulating with everyone in the room. Spend
a few minutes introducing yourself to the people sitting
either side of you. As part of your introduction include
people or businesses that you’d like to connect with, trends
that are occurring in your industry and your goals for 2006.
The object of this interchange is to provide suggestions or
ideas about how you might be able to help your “Bingo Buddy”
connect with other FWA members, professional contacts and
organizations to meet their goals. Remember to write notes
and suggestions on your business card before you hand them
over!
To complete the “Bingo Card”, you need to meet 24 other
people, collect their business cards and have them write
their names in the open squares.
At the end, we’ll draw business cards from the Bingo Card
Box. Check off these names on your Bingo Card as they are
read aloud. The winner is the first person with five names
in a row, either across, down or diagonally.
The winner receives a bottle of champagne and a $25 gift
certificate to the Silk Hands and Feet Spa in San Francisco.
Of course, everybody really wins, because everyone makes new
contacts through the process.

Members - $35 for FWA members. (No
