Location - If the position
is not in the Bay Area, the geographical location should be
stated being as specific as possible. If relocation assistance
is included in the package, that should be indicated.
Job Description - The job
description should include key responsibilities and critical
qualifications. Things such as "good writing skills,"
"good interpersonal skills, " etc. should NOT be
included. These are taken for granted with the FWA membership,
and as such will be edited out. The description should be fairly
short, preferably 5-10 lines long. Lengthy job descriptions will
be edited to ensure consistency.
Compensation - All
monetary and non-monetary compensation should be specified. If
the position is bonus eligible that should be stated, and if the
amount or percentage of the bonus is known, that too should be
included. If the position is compensated by commission that
should be clearly stated. And if a base salary accompanies the
commission that amount should be specified. Compensation should
not include such benefits as vacation pay, medical and other
insurance payments, etc. UNLESS there is something extraordinary
about this aspect of the package.
